Silent Partner
SILENT PARTNER began playing "Classic Rock" in 1986, when many of the songs we played were brand new Top 40 rock n roll tunes and today, 4 of the 5 founding members are still rockin' the Pittsburgh area! With all members sharing lead vocal duties, our unique harmonies and wide ranging vocals stand out. We've also recently opened for such national acts as Kansas, Foreigner, Kenny Loggins, Starship, Edgar Winter and South Side Johnny & The Asbury Jukes. We continue playing Classic Rock's greatest hits as well as some of our own original material, in some of Western Pa's best venues, including The Hard Rock Cafe, Jergels and the Meadows & Rivers Casinos. Most importantly to the band however, are the many charity events we've been involved with, including our own "Silent Partner & Friends Hollywood Theater Benefit Concert Series, which raised money to help keep the old fashioned, Dormont movie theater viable. Our proudest, most important and ongoing project is our Silent Partner - Jam4Joey "BEAT DIPG" Benefit Concert Series, in honor of 8 year old Joey Fabus, who passed away in January of 2015 from DIPG, an inoperable and terminal brain tumor, afflicting over 300 children annually. We will continue holding these concerts, which raise money for the non profit "Joey Fabus Childhood Cancer Foundation", for as long as the band exists or until that cure IS found!
